Christ United Methodist Church offers all ages many opportunities for the worship of God through music. Members and friends of CUMC can participate in musical ensembles for worship services and other departmental programs.

It is often easy for the individual to shy away from musical opportunities and "let someone else do it." If you have received the gift of talent, nurture it and return it to God. Chancel Choir:
Rehearsal Time: Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
(Childcare is provided)
The Chancel Choir is the main service choir for the 11:00 a.m. worship, throughout the school year. This choir is open to adults and high school age youth. We sing sacred music that is challenging, yet varied in style; including, traditional, classical, gospel, contemporary, etc. The Chancel Choir also performs special concerts/cantatas throughout the year, according to the Christian Calendar.

Children's Choirs:
Rehearsal Time: Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:15 p.m.
The Children’s Choirs (Grades 1st-6th) at CUMC offer an opportunity for children to discover that music is fun. Rehearsals include musical games, theory, activities and lots of singing. The children also become familiar with our musical heritage as United Methodists as we begin to learn more about our hymnal and worship. Children’s Choirs sing about once a month in worship services. We meet throughout the school year.

Glory Ringers:
Rehearsal Time: Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Glory Ringers is the adult handbell choir at CUMC and plays a wide variety of music. We play once a month in worship services.

Serenity Singers:
Rehearsal Time: Thursdays, 6:45 p.m.
Serenity Singers is a female group that sings arrangements of contemporary Christian music. We sing once a month in worship services and are also ambassadors of CUMC.

CUMC Brass Ensemble:
Rehearsal Time: Sundays, 3:30 p.m.
The Brass Ensemble is a talented group of instrumentalists that plays sacred, classical pieces, as well as hymn arrangements. We play once a month in worship services.
