DIRECTOR OF RESOURCES - Martha Hewitt Hoile.

Martha is the Director of Resources, which means financial and volunteer resources. Her duties include staff support for the Circle of Care Ministry, the Parish Health Ministry and the Retired Pastors Outreach, as well as the Van Ministry, New Member Cooordination, Prayer Shawl Ministry and the Hospitality Team. Martha also manages the Church finances and develops new adult ministry programs.

Martha is a Lincoln native and a graduate of Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska. She has two children, Andrew, age 15 and Joey, age 13. Martha is a member of First Plymouth Congregational Church, where she plays in the adult handbell choir.

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC MINISTRY AND WORSHIP ARTS - Thad Henderson

Thad Henderson is our Director of Music and Worship Arts.
Thad is a native Kansan and has lived most of his life in the Midwest. Thad's father is a retired minister so he grew up in a parsonage watching and listening to his Dad as he was pastor to numerous churches. You can't help but learn valuable people skills that way. His entire family is musical. In fact, his brother is also a Director of Church Music.

Thad has nine years of directing experience (4 years part time and 5 years full time.) Four of the years were while he was attending college at Oklahoma Baptist University where he studied Church Music and Church Administration. Thad feels that his calling is to serve within the church leading the people of God in worship as well as educating them musically. Thad has served churches in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Thad has been married to his beautiful wife, Kara, for four years and they both enjoy taking care of their little Dachsund, Rusty.

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN/YOUTH - Matt Harrington.

Matt Harrington is our Director of Children and Youth Ministries.
Matt is very passionate about his love for young people and believes that the children and youth are the most important ministries of any healthy church. Growing up in a non-Christian home Matt has a desire to help all youth have a positive church experience. In order to do this he challenges our youth in their relationships both spiritually and physically.

Matt has been married to his wife Leah for nine years and they have three children. McKenna 8, Alexis 5, and Jaret 3. Leah is a nurse in the Burn Unit at Saint Elizabeth's. Matt is originally from a small farming community in Northeast Missouri while Leah grew up here in Lincoln.

BUILDING SUPERINTENDENT - Randy Cary.


Randy is responsible for care and upkeep of all church property.
He is married to Betty, father of two grown children, and grandfather of five.




ORGANIST/PIANIST - Jane Plettner-Nielson.

Jane has been a church musician for many years, most recently at Trinity United Methodist Church. She has served as choir director, bell choir director and organist for many different churches.

Her degrees are in music, having received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Hastings College and a Master of Music degree in Organ Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Her full-time job is with the Legislature, working in the Revisor of Statutes/Bill Drafting office.
